Now, before I begin writing this post, I know I am supposed to first be writing about my 4 Days 3 Nights sudden trip to Taiping, but as much as I would want to, please do understand that I am fighting against time, internet connection, photos and things to be said. And besides, I have it all updated on my social network, on Facebook. So if you could just bear with me and log on Facebook, you'll see
a ton of check in's all over Perak town. Please do know that
I am tremendously sorry because a reader recently asked if
I could write on Taiping, well, I wished I could. I pray that
I could. Perhaps in the future I would, but as for the current time being, I wouldn't be able to. And therefore, I am sorry.
I woke up, this morning half swearing at my massive headache and half regretting because I only managed to sleep at two in the morning last night, and it became where
I started questioning my own stupidity because knowing at the fact I had to be up at nine in the morning today as the Fantastic Four sisters is in town but I still sleep so little.
I clearly opened my eyes when my alarm clock rang and
it showed 09:00 a.m. and that was when I know how much
I am deeply screwed. I rushed up to put clothes to wash, quickly showered and I swear looking at the fact I had one hour only to get ready, I skipped the idea of washing my hair. I knew in order to be in KLCC at 12, I had to leave home at 10am or else, I'll be late cause it is a working Monday, and well, the public transport in Kuala Lumpur, is hopeless. I ran downstairs and thought of making breakfast but knew I was gonna be late so I skipped meal, as usual. Swear I am going to be down with gastric soon. Nothing big anyways. We'll all die one way or another. So, I ran to dry the clothes and I dolled up to look good, so I threw on my favourite grey Cotton On jumpsuit and I gushed out of the house because I promised to be at Suria Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre ( KLCC ) at 12pm sharp for lunch today.
Knowing the fact that I stay in Cheras and it is so far to travel, I need at least one hour and 30 minutes, mind you,
I ran to the bus stop, only to realize that this would take forever. An Indian lady walked to the bus stop to wait alongside me too, and before I knew it, I was already on my way, in the bus, heading towards Masjid Jamek. In the bus,
I see familar faces from tuition and schools and it was such a nice feeling to know that my batchmates and juniors, still do visit school after so long. At the very fact that we graduated in 2013, makes it three years ago that we left school, yet there people still visit high school just shows how much impact our high school teachers have on us to make and mould us. Why haven't I do this part yet though? Visiting school, I mean. Why?
Scratch that, I was praying that I wouldn't be late simply because I really didn't want the girls to be waiting for me knowing that the fact that they're new in town. So I made the bus driver stopped me at Kota Raya and I ran. Yeps, I ran to the train station in Masjid Jamek and quickly boarded the Putra Lane train heading towards KLCC. Thankfully KLCC was only 4 stations away. I was there early, surprisingly, despite the fact that Kuala Lumpur is always so jammed up during the weekdays, especially on Mondays, but I was there early and waited for them for half an hour tho. They arrived when it was around 12:30pm ( late babes ) and we quickly made our ways to lunch. I was honestly starving because
I skipped breakfast but they had a meal before meeting me. How unfair. So, we made our way to KLCC food court and
I had chicken lasagna from Milano as lunch today. It costed RM 9.00 per plate though. Picture above was Vino's lunch of banana waffle with chocolate ice-cream ( RM 5.50 ). I was too hungry so I ate mine even without snapping a picture.
We sat and caught up for an hour before we made our way to the green park, for a walk. I really planned this entire day simply because of the park in KLCC and I was glad the girls saw the different side of the city. Despite the drizzle and rain, we sat and talked, even more. Catching up on trips, gossips, people, friends, food, family and etc.
We walked and took photographs and I would wanna show you my favourite photograph of the day. TA-DAA! Nice right? P/S : The photographer is even prettier though.
We walked some more and storied some more and we managed to catch a break cause the rain got a little heavier so we found shelter under a hut near the park. It is such a nice place to be at, really. We sat and spoke for a while and decided we should wait. Hmph, I should really bring my someone special when I meet him someday in the future here and hold hands and stroll around the park. Teheeeee.
We took more photographs and before we realized it, three hours had already passed and we needed to rush to Central Market for more sight-seeing. I swear, I almost died when
I am probably the worst tour guide ever but I managed some reading about the Green Line and Purple Line free bus that we could use to reach Central Market. After much difficulties, we managed to scrambled our way through from Suria KLCC to Central Market also with a help of a local Chinese Aunty. So once there we crawled our way to Speed 99 cause I was so thirsty and I really wanted to beg for mineral water but ended up buying a cold Oishi green tea for myself. Before I forget, I saw this super pretty Punjabi lady who had Priyanka Chopra's tattoo in the bus and
I almost cried to Vino because I wanted it so badly too.
Anyways continue, so once in Central Market. We wanted to go into the 3D Arts Museum which we didn't, pretty unique I guess but since Thiviya has visited the one in Penang and
I have visited the one in Ipoh, Perak. We skipped the idea of it. We ended up exploring around Central Market. I fell in love with so many things and amongst other was this one Lord Shivan's portrait, a portrait of Lord Vinayagar, and

also this Shirdi Sai Baba's portrait. Such loves, I swear.
Should really visit here again with mom, and pick something out of here for the house. We walked some more to discover so many heritage shops and crafts. I shall just let the
pictures do the explaining and talking for me, okay?
And because we wanted something similar for the three of us, so we ended up getting another necklace for ourselves. This would be the second Fantastic Four necklace of mine and Vino's after our first oak tree necklace from Lovisa. The necklace which was handmade only costed RM 17.00 each. We made a new necklace with a praying Angel pendant. Guess who picked the pendant one though? Me lah of course! Anyways, such happy faces. May the Angel in us forever be stronger than of the Devil's. Just saying.
We then took photographs of our new necklace and thought we should treat ourselves to have cake and coffee before leaving. I had this super tasty regular hot hazelnut milk for RM 6.80 in Secret Recipe, Central Market itself.
We spent almost three hours in Central Market and we bid our goodbyes as I hopped onto the Rapid bus home and they headed onto Pasar Seni Putra LRT station heading towards Ara Damansara. I reached home only like two hours thirty minutes later and started blogging ever since though.
So sleepy, my God.
That's about it for day one post, will be back for updates tomorrow as the three of us visits waterfall for outdoor activities on Day Two. That's all from me :)
