Johor Bharu Getaway Trip Part I :]

I think it is pretty clear and known that I left for
Johor Bharu last weekend for a trip with my hostel girls, or we are better known as The Fantastic Four,
for a quick getaway. The thing was that, I actually got the bus ticket earlier a day before ( on Friday ) and the funny thing about the bus timings was that, there was only one bus company ( K.K.K.L Express ) that goes into Terminal Gelang Patah and the timings are located as such at 0800a.m. or 1830p.m. So I bought the bus ticket for both Vino and I at 0800 hours and
I was pretty worried that we would not wake up on time and that we would miss the bus. I crawled into bed that night at two in the morning and I was so surprised of myself when I pulled myself up at six in the morning, ran into shower, got ready and all, and left
for breakfast with my younger brother.
The amusing thing was that, I walked into Terminal Bersepadu Selatan Bus Station at 06:45 a.m. and waited for Vino who later turned up only at 07:35 a.m. and we took our toilet break and we rushed into a convenience store for snacks and ran to our platforms.
We were early and guess what happened? The bus was no where in sight. I literally had a panicked attack because it felt like our National Blood Donation Project once again. I literally thought we had missed the bus and it was then when I saw a bus conductor who calmed both Vino and I down by saying that the bus has not arrived yet. So, the both of us waited patiently and when the bus finally arrived, we both climbed and settled ourselves comfortably in the bus. All that I remembered during the journey was that, Vino dozed off first on our way there and I followed up by sleeping the whole way there. When I woke up, we were already in Skudai. Vino was wide awake next to me.
We were literally freaking out when the bus entered Larkin Sentral to let all the passengers down because the destination that we wanted to be at is in Terminal Gelang Patah and not Larkin. Every single passenger hopped off the bus and I walked forward to ask the driver as to whether would he drop of us in Gelang Patah or is Vino and I supposed to get off in Larkin Sentral and board another bus? And he told me that I got on the right bus and nodded that he would drop us in Gelang Patah. That he was just making a quick
stop for those who wants to stop in Larkin Sentral.
When I walked back to my seat and as Vino was looking at me, it was then that I realized that there was only two of us on bus and the road from Larkin Sental to Gelang Patah was just filled with pure agony and torture. Lets not mention that there was nothing to see on the roads and it was so eerie that there was only two of us on bus who I stress, the two persons who does not even know, Johor Bharu that well at all! After such a long ride, I googled and after almost 28 km ride, Vino and I finally thanked the bus driver and we rushed to the toilet to pee and we rang up to tell Thiviya that we were in town. We waited for a while for her to
pick us up and both Vino and I took some photos.

Here you go!

Once Thiviya picked us up, we went to her elder sister's place to settle down. Oh, I forgot to mention that her elder sister's name is Anisha, and her brother in law is Vinoth. We unpacked our things and
waited for a while to leave for lunch and
guess what we had for lunch?

THERE YOU GO. INDIAN FOOD :]

I had a cup of teh ais to go along with these for lunch.
After lunch, we left for a quick mini shopping in
Johor Premium Outlet. Here are pictures of
the three of us before the shopping spree begins.
Do compare it to the "after" effect pictures below :]

And we did shopping and we took more pictures. Manged to get both my brothers, tees from Padini.

To those lovelies who are actually reading to wait for their souvenirs, I am tremendously sorry because I only managed to get gifts for both my brothers and myself plus coffee for both Donald and Anwar.
That's it :] I got this pair of top for myself though.

Here are pictures of us after harvesting
our gains after a good long two hours.

Here is something from the three of us :]

We stopped for tea at a mamak shop nearby and I gulped down a good cooling cup of ice lemon tea.
After that, we went home to take a break after that and I managed to get a supposed to be a five minutes nap but it then turned out to be a half an our of sleep.
We got ready, dolled up and we left home for dinner in Puteri Harbour that night. We left home at 20:45 p.m. that night. Once there, we had a tour around this superhero shop first. There is an exact shop exactly like these, when I visited Melaka few months ago
and felt the one in Melaka was so much cheaper and better. Here are some photos of us in the shop, loves.

Whilst the two adults went for dinner guess where
the three girls went? We walked around for pictures.
So here you go. Pictures of us :] You would not
believe how long and how panicky we got
just to obtain one good photo of ourselves.

We felt as if the effects of the photos did not turn
out as how we wanted it so we walked
on some more to capture more shots.

Trying an error in front of one of the cafe'.

Sorry, we ended up posing under a lamp post.

Once that was that, we walked over to catch the two lovebirds catching up with their dinner and me,
being me, just had to take a picture of them two.

We walked over to a bistro, and I noticed that it was called, The Olive. The food was so good and although it was their dinner, the both cuties could not help but to feed us along as well. Thank you so much for
making us even wider than we already are.

We finished our dinner quietly and we went to have "lok lok" if you guys don't know, it is kind of like a van that has like a variant of food that you have to cook in a steamboat @ a hotpot meal. And the food is served on sticks, skewered sticks kind of like a satay style.

We were there at ten pm and finished our dinner with both stories from Anisha and all of us were listening tentatively. We shared university life experiences
and exchanged opinions on things.

We went home that night when the clock struck twelve and that we were all so full with dinner and so freaking thirsty. Thanks to the preservatives in our food.
We spoke so much to sum all up at one go,
here are four images from us five :)

We went home for a midnight movie. Wanted to watch PK starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, but there was no subtitles, so, we switched to watch Mary Kom, when Thiviya asked us to snuggle into bed to talk. We changed into our pajamas and the moment I landed myself on the bed, I just slept off and I slowly slept off whilst hearing both the girls voices
slowly faded away as I slept the night away :]
